The climate crisis is becoming a more popular theme in film, literature, and theater. This particular theater production is taking things one step further by reducing its own emissions with a zero travel commitment.

“A Play for the Living in a Time of Extinction” by Miranda Rose Hall is on tour in 10 countries. At each touring stop, the production works with local artists and crew. The show is also off-grid. In some productions, the electricity was generated onstage by performers riding bicycles.
