Climate documentaries: Tipping Points
Just watched a documentary on Netflix featuring Johan Rockstrom and other scientists. Despite setting a gloomy stage with the current climate situation, the documentary ends on a positive note that we still have time to take action within the next decade to reverse the current trends. Each individuals commitments to reduction, each company, each country that can commit to making changes will add up to significant improvements collectively. Cutting dependence on fossil fuels by 6-7% per year, planting trees/helping to support carbon capture initiatives, eating more plant based foods and reducing waste were some of their suggestions. Seems simple enough, right?
